Monday, October 30, 2006

ok so, today is Monday October 30th, tomorrow is Halloween...I cannot believe that time has gone so fast...so soon it will be Christmas and then I start worrying about summer and the heat...LOL...

this morning I did not want to get out of bed at all...but I thought at least one of our friends would be waiting and sure enought, Valerie and Mark were...once I am up and actually walking it is really ok...

Zoe was kind of clingy, think it is a Monday thing, as were several of the other little girls...
so, the door to her classroom opens and she has a substitute teacher and I was not real sure about how the kids would handle this news...she was a little older short lady, and right away, I knew she meant business...the minute she said for everyone to be quiet, and listen...there was complete silence and the boys, even the hyper ones stood at attention and several of the little girls started crying...Zoe really did not actually cry, but held my hand into the room...Cailey was pretty upset...Gaby's mom told her to just think of the new teacher as she would about her grandma and then Gaby was all right...
so, I go back about 11:20 and all of the classes are coming back from ELD and it was like total chaos...there were 3 substitute teachers out of the 5, and no one knew where to line up or anything...many of the kids were running all over the playground...I must say that our kids were all standing in line...BUT, AND THIS IS THE SAD PART....I think our kids were glad to see me as a familiar face, when I went out to help corral the kids and take off their name tags, I got so many hugs from our kids...I think this teacher was overwhelmed, but honestly did all right...bet the kids will be so glad to see Mrs. Luginbill back tomorrow...

there were no tickets today as Zoe said the teacher did not know how to do them...Zoe was a little mad as she said the teacher pronounced her name as Zo...now Samantha thinks she should have added a Y to the end of her name...

Zoe took a very long nap today, guess she was tired from the weekend and having a trying day at school...

after school, while Zoe was still at my house till mom got home, she was playing with our one remaining kitten, and this cat loves Zoe and follows her everywhere...but at one time while Zoe was watching tv, the kitten (Gambit) scratched Zoe's face and Zoe cried...so, I tried explaining that the cat is a baby and does not know how to use it's claws...so Zoe said, "Grandma, we need to talk to God and tell Him to have a talk with Gambit and tell him he needs to use his claws properly..." I thought that was kind of cute...

Today is really Sunday, October 29th and we are having Sian's birthday party...she is 2 years old, can you believe it???
she is so cute right now at this stage, and starting to put 2 words together...she went around all day saying it was her happy day...
Zoe was very well behaved, and a big helper to her little cousin...Zoe even spent her own money to get Sian presents...she helped her open her presents also...
all in all, we had a very good day, and every one got along (that is always a plus for me...)

The SPOOKY Weekend!

We took Zoe to Riverside Community College's annual Halloweentown celebration. I wanted to get there early, because it is always PACKED full of hundreds and hundreds of parents and kids. We got there in time for the costume contest, so I decided to enter her in it.

It seemed like there were a ton of pirates, witches, mermaids, and vampires this year. I thought I had done a pretty good job making Zoe's costume, so I thought the contest would be a good idea.

Zoe was so cute when she went onstage by herself, and told the judges that she was a flower fairy. She stood up there and waved to everyone and smiled... that's my girl, a performer at heart, hahahahaha!

Anyway, Zoe took FIRST PLACE in her age group. We were so excited!

After the contest, we trick or treated around the classrooms on campus. She got a TON of candy, and even a brand new toothbrush and toothpaste, which she is going to need after these next couple of days!

My first attempt at a Halloween costume!

My beautiful flower fairy.

Zoe at costume contest.

Zoe winning FIRST PRIZE at costume contest!

Zoe trick or treating.

I am going to put Friday October 27th in with this date...
today was black day, so Zoe wore her new TCP black cord tiered skirt and I made her a Halloween shirt to go with it...she looked cute...
we walked with Mark this morning and when I looked around suddenly, there was Valerie walking with us also...kind of cold this morning and Zoe wanted my jacket, so I was freezing when I got to school...Mrs. Luginbill did not need my help, so I went to the preschool to help them...
after picking up Zoe, took her to the preschool, she loves to go there and see her old teachers, especially her favorite one, Mrs. Sherman...

she got a green ticket...

Zoe has a busy weekend planned, with going to RCC, Castle Park and then to the church for a festival...
today this is the real date...cannot believe I am all caught up...yeah!!!!

so, yesterday when we went over to see if Mark and Valerie were walking, Valerie was taking too long and Karen had to drive them, and later I found out that Mark was really upset, cause he wanted to walk with Zoe and Zoe...so, I told Karen if Valerie takes too long, then just let Mark walk with us...
so, Zoe and I go over there this morning, and Mark was waiting at the front door for us, he had dressed himself, & even combed his own hair in anticipation of being ready for us...his Mom was not even up yet, it was kind of cute, how he wanted to walk with us that bad...
we walked and see, when Zoe is with friends she does not want the wagon, cause her friends might think she is a baby...right around the corner from us, lives another little kindergartener, whom Mark and Zoe both know...her name is Abby, and we sort of walked with them also...Mark and Zoe picked up leaves off the ground and were all around just silly walking to school...
if you ask Mark who his best friends in kindergarten are, he says, "Gopa, Kyle and Zoe."
Mrs. Luginbill was on playground duty and thought it was cute that Mark and Zoe walked together and picked up leaves...
Zoe took her lunch as she did not want to eat chicken in the cafeteria...(she doesn't eat all that much of anything anyway...)

Zoe did get a green ticket today...yeah !!!

after school, Karen asked if Zoe could come over and watch a movie with Mark and Zoe was all excited about having a play date with Mark...

today is Wednesday October 24th

so, today I get up with a migraine and did not want to walk but, am thinking at least one of our friends might be waiting for us, so off we go...and wouldn't you know it, no one was wanting to walk...
Zoe is much less clingy this week and am proud of her, but wondering what the heck is going on...
she wore the patched Halloween skirt set that I made her last year and several people commented on how cute it was...
came home and did a few chores and laid down on the couch and promptly fell asleep and woke up just in time to get the little princess...

got a green ticket...
was hard to get Zoe out of the playground once I got her out of the classroom...she and Cailey, Juliette, Malik, and Dylan all wanted to stay and play...it was kind of cute...
once we were leaving, we pass by the kids lined up for the bus and all of the lined up kids one by one, "bye Zoe, bye Zoe..." and she acts like the little princess, waving with a princess wave...too cute...

went out to lunch at Burger King, we have not been there since we moved to Riverside, and the chicken sandwich was pretty good...
mommy was home when we got there, so Grandma can go lay down once again...

Today is Tuesday October 23rd...

Today is cousin Sian's 2nd birthday...we are having a party on Sunday for her...
we walked the whole way to school without the wagon today, that is a big step for Zoe...she is not really a morning person, and I really hate making her walk, if she is still tired...but today I was proud of her for walking...none of our friends wanted to walk so we did by ourselves...
Zoe likes getting to school a little early to be able to play on the playground...she loves chasing the boys...especially Kyle...and Malik...when we got to school the other Zoe was upset cause she didn't like her jacket, hmmm, sounds like our Zoe and it was the same kind of jacket that ours refuses to wear...it is so funny that they are so alike...

today Zoe wore the really cute halloween jumper with black cats and candy corn on it with the black and purple tights...I thought it really looked cute...

green ticket today...

Zoe and Sian played outside for quite awhile this afternoon till Zoe's mom got home from work...

Monday Ocotber 22nd, 2006

Well, Zoe is really glad that grandma is home from San Francisco, and we walked to school in the wagon...we met up with the other Zoe also...
Zoe did not have a problem getting into line by herself this morning, although several other little girls did not want their moms to leave...
gave Rose her birthday present they we got her in Frisco, and she gave Grandma a hug...

after school, we were going to walk home as our car would not start and we had to have it towed, but Mark's mom gave us a ride...so, no out to lunch today...mom had to work late and didn't get home till 2 pm so Zoe stayed at Grandma's house and had lunch and watched a little bit of tv and played with kitties...

Zoe got a green ticket today and tomorrow should be treasure chest...
she wore the new set I got her in Berkley today the raspberry moon set from Sweet Potatoes...

after nap, she went and played with Mark for a little bit...

see you tomorrow

this is actually Friday October 2oth
Notice how enthused Zoe looks? Could it be because grandma went on a trip without her?
Daddy and momma had to take her to school on Friday morning. Zoe went home with Gaby and her mom after school, because momma had to work. When momma came to get her, she was at a yard sale with Gaby , her mom, and Isabella. We played there for a little while, and then we walked home. It was a little lonely without grandma and grandpa here.
Zoe and cousin Desiree

On Saturday, we stuck around the house all day, and then went to Zoe's cousin Desiree's 24th birthday party. There were no other kids there, but Zoe behaved herself, and everyone got a real kick out of her. People kept commenting on how much she looks and acts like Desiree. We left a little early (Zoe asked to stay until around 11:30, then asked to go home). She got to see Uncle Bob, and he fed her a ton of candy and soda and some chips and dip.Overall, it was a good weekend, but I think Zoe was glad when grandma finally came home!

trying to catch up, today is actually Tuesday October 14th...

am writing about last Thursday, October 19th...
walked Zoe to class, and she was a little clingy, maybe because she is wary about Grandma leaving for Millbrae later today...
today is Rose's birthday, it is her actual birthday, and she is 5 today...her mom brought cookies for the class room...even with her being 5, she is still taller than Zoe...

Zoe said the day went fine and she got a green ticket...went and got her a few minutes early, and we all, including Min Min went out to lunch and to the party store to look at Halloween decorations...

Wednesday, October 18, 2006

Today is Wednesday October 18th...

we left for school early this morning and let me tell you, it was difficult getting up while still sort of darkish outside...we wanted to leave by 5 till 7...I still think this is too early for kindergarteners...

anyway today was doughnuts with dad day to promote the school's book fair...Zoe's Daddy had to work, and Grandpa had an early doctor's appointment, so Zoe had asked Uncle Tim (Min Min) to go with her to school, which he agreed to...Zoe loves him so much and the feeling is so mutual and so it was good for them to spend a few minutes together...Zoe had fun...
I stayed to help take the class to the book fair, there was some really nice books there, some that I would have liked to have had...some really cool cookbooks...after school, took Zoe back to buy her a book, she got a book about bugs and her teacher said to bring it back and share it with the class...

Zoe got a green ticket...Mark got treasure chest, and showed me the spider ring he got...

went out to lunch at Wendy's...get Zoe the kid's meal with chicken, and I got a baked potato, and guess what she wanted to eat??? YES, my potato...it never fails...guess next time will not spend the money to get a kid's meal, just get her a potato...

The Pumpkin Patch

Mom and dad took me to Doi's pumpkin patch tonight. We had a great time walking through the fields filled with THOUSANDS of pumpkins, of every size and shape. Dad and mom let me pick a pumpkin out, but it was so hard to choose! I finally settled one on, though.

Today is Tuesday October 17th...

today we walked to school and Zoe actually walked the whole way without the wagon...we waited for the other Zoe, but she didn't come to walk....so, it was me, Zoe, Mark and Mark's sister Valerie...as we walked some older kids came by us on their bikes and said, "hey little kids..." that remark had different reactions from all 3 kids, but the funniest was from Mark...he said, without even missing a beat, "hey ugly people..." I cannot come up with things that fast and it was funny that a 5 year old can...Zoe was indignent...she said, "hey I am not a little kid, I am 5..."

we get to school and the other Zoe's grandpa brought her as her mom had a migraine, boy can I understand...

Mark said to me, "know why I hugged you yesterday? I hugged you cause you were nice to let us walk with you yesterday..." Isn't that cute???

school went fine, tho Zoe was a little upset that Gaby was not back from her trip yet...

Zoe got a green ticket and she got treasure chest also; a little bad of m and m's...

today is Monday October 16th...

so, the weekend went by pretty fast (too fast...)
we were going to have a garage sale on Saturday, but it was raining (yeah) ...Zoe and her Daddy went to an Indian pow wow...
we had the garage sale on Sunday, and so did Mark's mom...so, it was cute Mark and Zoe talking to each other from across the street...
then, later that evening it was Uncle Chris' birthday, and they came with Sian and her and Zoe made the cake for his birthday...although I think they got more on themselves than on the cake...Zoe put candy on top in the shape of a rainbow...the kids had a good time...Sian since she loves Elmo so much, now sings Sunny Days (but those are the only 2 words she knows to it...) we have forgotten so much of when Zoe was little, so everything Sian says is cute...

so, this morning I was not real sure about walking, but I had promised the other Zoe's mom. so off we go...Karen had said could she send her 2 with me, so she would not have to wake the baby, but her husband is off on Monday's, so she walked with us also...it was cute for both Zoe's to hold hands the whole way to school, and the other one's mom kept commenting on how so alike they are...they both love bugs, and leaves and stones, etc...I said we need to take a pic of them and send to her husband in Afghanistan...
Zoe gets right in line with no problem but, as she gets about gets in the door, she leaves line to give me a hug...Mark was behind her, and he gets out of line also and comes and gives me a hug, then says to Mrs. Luginbill, "wait, I have to give my other mom a hug too..." and gets out of line to give Karen a hug...we all laughed, including the teacher...

so, I am off to give Mrs. Sherman a hand at the preschool...

got Zoe from school, and since it is Bosses day at the preschool, took Zoe there, as they are having a small party...OMG I had the best pumpkin roll ever, Lisa Sherman made it...I NEED THAT RECIPE...
Zoe loves going to FUMPS, to see her old teachers, etc...she also likes to help Mom clean up the playground, etc...she likes the feeling of being the big kid on campus...all the kids in Mrs. Sherman's class said, "hey I know you, you are Zoe..."

she got a green ticket...

Today is Friday (yeah...) October 13th...

Zoe got in line really well this morning, just wanted Grandma to hold her hand and walk her to class...there was a note on the door of her classroom that said her teacher would be there at 8:15, and that the class would be going to Mrs. Nelson's class till she got there...Zoe was all right with that as she like Mrs. Nelson...I helped round up the class and showed them where to go...
so, I go home to take our method of transportation (the wagon) home, I read the paper, got a drink and went back to school, to see what Mrs. Lugenbill had for me to do...
she gave me a bunch of stuff to photocopy and some paper to cute into pieces for an art project in the future...she came into check on me, and said towards the end, that the class was going for a lesson in gardening and she would like me there, and I only had a few things left to do...
the class got to go to the garden and they each planted a sunflwoer seed...too cute...they also got a seed to take home to plant...
Grandpa had somewhere to go, so he dropped us off, NO LUNCH OUT TODAY...
Zoe and Mommy had lunch together, and then Zoe and I went to Mark's house, as his mom was having a garage sale and we stayed and helped her for a little while...

ps...Zoe got a greeen ticket today, and I was in the class when tickets were handed out, and the teacher made a big deal on every kid got a green ticket today...that was pretty cool...
each year when I help, I have my favorites and this year is no exception, even though I don't know all of the kids that well yet...Karla is pretty cute, and she seems to like me, Delia is sweet and so quiet but, so is Hannah...Marisol likes to talk to me and showed me her show and tell which was a bobbing head dog, Cailey tells me that she likes the clothes I make for Zoe...Juliette likes to tell me about her new baby brother that is not born yet...Brittany likes to talk to Zoe...
Rose yesterday was so upset cause her mom had to go to work early and Rose was so upset and hanging on her brother, sobbing...so, I told her mom today that the next time she has to go to work early, to tell Rose to come to me and she can sit with me...she said that is what she told her to do yesterday, so, I felt kind of bad that I didn't do more when she was so upset...
out of the boys, of course, I really like Mark, since he is our neighbor, but he is also a great kid and he loves to play with Zoe...Malik seems to like me and talks to me...Zoe likes Kyle and Dean today went out of his way to speak nicely to Zoe...Gopa and Jesus seem really quiet...Jesse is a cute little thing...anyways...I hope to get to know more of the kids, they all seem to be a great class, and I told the teacher how great they were after Zoe got her award and the class was so nice about it and congratulated her on it...
today was orange day and I was very impressed with the number of kids that wore orange...think purple last week was a problem with some of the boys...

Thursday, October 12, 2006

so this is really Thursday October 12th...

but, I am lumping 4 days all into one blog...we have been so busy and just the usual going on in kindergarten...

Gaby went with her parents to Boston, so Zoe was a little lost at first, but she said she is playing with Juliette and Cailey and they are 2 nice little girls and all seems to be going ok with the 3 being friends...
on Monday Zoe wore the new set from gymboree, the cherry Pie set that had the pink skirt, with the pink cherry polo with the pink knee socks and I thought she looked pretty cute...
on Tuesday she wore a really cute little chicken set that has the cutest babydoll top and the teacher told Zoe that she loves her clothes...
on Wednesday she wore the Naartjie white butterfly dress with the matching leggings and shoes, which is one of my favorites...
Thursday she wore the Gymboree portabello road red dress with the leggings and matching shoes...

all 4 days she got green tickets, and from the treasure chest, she got spongebob candy...
just about every day after school she wants to go out to lunch and her favorite is Carls Jr...I think she likes that one since they have a playground...but on Wednesday, since mommy had to go to Anaheim for a school meeting, Zoe stayed with us for the afternoon and we went to Wendy's for chicken nuggets...Zoe likes dipping her chicken in the frosty...

on Tuesday and Wednesday just before it got dark, she went over to Marks house to play for a little bit...
on Thursday, Mommy, Daddy and Zoe went to school at night to the book fair and Zoe got 3 new books, she can't wait for Mommy to put groceries away just to read a new book to her...

let me just say that her mom and I are just floored at what she has already learned in school so far...she writes her name so perfectly now, before, she wrote the e in Zoe, like E, now it is e...also when she spells her name it is Zoe D. it is so funny, but also a little sad...
she was telling us that the first page in a book is the title page, what the back page is, the front page and then the spine...
I also think that if you can't even say the word exclamation, (which she says so cute) then you shouldn't know what it means...which she does...

anyway tomorrow is Friday, yeah the end of the week and I am going to help in Zoe's class, I am so excited and so is Zoe...

The Weekend in Review

The weekend really started on Thursday. Momma and poppa took me to the arts walk downtown. First, we went to the library, and Geoffrey, Winona, and Dave were there! I think momma planned it that way as a surprise for me! Geoffrey and I made a jumping jack-o-lantern craft while my momma and poppa, and Winona and Dave took turns making sugar skulls to celebrate Dia de Los Muertos, or the Day of the Dead.
After we finished our craft, we went to the Metropolitan Museum across the street. We went to the nature lab, and got to hold bugs, and look at tree frogs. In the gallery next door, they were having a Day of the Dead exhibit. When we went to the gift shop, Geoffrey bought me a gummy skeleton out of his own allowance! I thought that was really nice!

We had a good time, listening to music, and looking at the art, but I was hungry and thirsty, so we all went to a coffee house that Geoffrey's daddy works at. Momma and daddy got us stuffed croissants to eat. While we were eating and enjoying the music, all of the lights went out!!! I was scared for a second, but pretty soon, I noticed that people had lights on their laptops and phones, and it wasn't so scary anymore, it was actually kinda cool.

After the coffeehouse, we walked to an art gallery, and explored the building, which is REALLY old. We listened to a jazz band, and then we all went on the roof to look at the night sky. I pointed the full moon out to everyone!

We had a great time!

Friday, right after grandma and grandpa took momma and I to Goodwill and Pick Up Stiks, we went back with daddy! I never get sick of rice and soy sauce!

Saturday, momma and daddy took me to a cultural festival at the museum. I got a passport with my picture, and I had to go to a lot of different booths and answer questions in the passport. I got to make really cool crafts, and ate all kinds breads from different countries! The people at the booth for Mexico gave me hot chocolate and sweet bread, and let me take a book that children use in their school back in Mexico. I made an origami dog puppet, a Scandinavian painted horse magnet, and had my name written in Hebrew!
Geoffrey and his dad met us there, so the day was even better! We listened to a great storyteller. I tried different kinds of food, and even if it looked yucky, I still took a bite.

There was a booth where the people were giving free plates of Indian food! Momma and daddy were so surprised because I gobbled down the rice and beans and even the flatbread.
Daddy took me and Geoffrey to watch an Irish dance troop perform. The dancers were so beautiful! Grandma would have loved to see it, but I took pictures for her!

Today is Friday October 6th...

So, today Zoe woke up not feeling real well, but had not outward symptoms, she just feels nauseated...I said that I would be glad to keep her home and for a few minutes, she thought about it...but, she loves school so much, and she is also afraid that Gaby would be there and miss her is she wasn't...So, she took a tums and decided to go anyway...
we took our usual mode of transportation, the wagon, and she laid down the whole way there, covered in a quilt...just when it is time to turn the corner onto the street of the school, she got a new wind, decided to get out and walk and also pull the wagon...So, I had a good feeling that all might be all right...We were supposed to have met up with the other Zoe and walk with them, but, I never saw them and Zoe said that she didn't see the other Zoe at school either (hopefully she isn't sick...)
so, we got to school just as the class got in the door, and I explained to the teacher about Zoe and she said that she would watch her and call me for any little thing...

I had a migraine and came home and laid on the couch and surprisingly fell asleep but, every time the phone rang, I was sure that it was the school...

picking her up at 11:30, Mrs. Luginbill said that she seemed ok during the day...But, Zoe did not seem all that fine to me...She just looked pale and really quiet...She said that she really needed a sprite right away, so off we go to, where else??? Carl's Jr...
getting out of the car, she promptly throws up in the parking lot...LOL...But, then was absolutely fine...Wanted chicken, fries and played in the playground...GO FIGURE...

after her nap, we went to Goodwill and then Zoe wanted Pick up Stiks...She loves the plain rice with tons of soy sauce... We came home to eat and she played with the kitties...She especially loves the kitty that Nikki wants named Rattle...

after that, she went grocery shopping with Mommy and Daddy...

BTW...She got a green ticket...

today was purple day, and Zoe does not have a whole lot that is purple, so she wore the lavender princess dress, that Emily has the matching one...

today is Thursday, October 5th...

Grandpa drove us to school today cause Grandma h's to get back for a board meeting at the preschool...
I needed Mommy to walk me in line all the way to my class door, but all the Mommies had to walk their kids today also...
so, I had a pretty good day at school, I played with Kyle, Gaby and Juliette...Grandma bought me a luncheable for lunch, it was the pizza one, but it had sprinkles that make noise...it was really good...
so, after school, Grandma brought Sian with her to pick me up and she gets so excited to see me... She comes right into the class and sits in a chair beside me....I got a green ticket...

Mommy had to stay at work and do lunch bunch, so Grandma packed me a lunch and took me to the preschool...I love it there and of course to to see all of my old teachers, especially Mrs. Sherman...I helped Mommy with the kids that stayed in her class, and played with Jasmine and Ian...I think the little kids like to play with someone that is a little older than them...we had fun...
when lunch bunch was over, I had to go to the Doctor, cause of my cough that I have had for so long...it was a new Doctor that I have not seen before, and he was really nice, and gave my Mommy some new medicine that I have to take every day for asthma...I had to blow into a purple thing that quacks like a duck...I blew really good and it does quack like a duck...

DO YOU LIKE THE PICTURE THAT I TOOK OF MRS. LUGINBILL??? I THINK SHE IS VERY PRETTY...

Today is wednesday...October 4th...

This morning, it was really cute, when Zoe played with the other Zoe, who is not in our Zoe's classroom...it is kind of weird how much both Zoe's are alike...even the other Zoe's mother keeps commenting on how alike they are...they both have short brown hair, they both live on Elmwood Court, and they will both be 6 in the next 2 months...the other one is a very nice little girl...she has a younger brother and a baby sister...her Daddy is in the Army, stationed in Afganistan...I really feel for her mom, must be hard...I give our military so much credit for doing what they do...(more about this later...)

so, once again Zoe is clingy in the morning and Mommy had to hand walk her to class, but so did all of the usually clingy kids...must be something in the air...

so, when I go pick Zoe up, first there is a fire drill and all of the kids are on the playground, and I was a little scared (expecially after the Amish school thing, hoping it is not the real thing...) when we finally got to go in the room, Gaby mentions something about Zoe having to change the color of her card...but, when I tried to question Zoe, she started to cry and say that she only wanted to go right home...so, we waited to talk to the teacher as soon as she was done with other parents...
it turns out that all the kids were in line, and Jesse was ahead of Zoe, and Zoe put her hands on him, and the rule is no hands on anyone else, for any reason...the teacher explained that she knew it was innocent, since she has never had a single problem with Zoe, but since all of the kids had seen Zoe's hands on him, she had to do something about it...Zoe did at the end, earn her
green ticket back, and all was well...the teacher told Zoe to give her a hug and reminded her of the rules...but, as soon as we walked out of the room after talking to the teacher, Zoe started sobbing, and not wanting to talk...I took her and got a shake at Carls Jr, and had a talk with her about why the rules are, and she promised that she will keep hands to herself, even tho, she was not being mean to Jesse...

found out that it is not Zoe that will be moving to the new class, THANK YOU GOD...

see you tomorrow, and hope we will have a much better day then...

Tuesday, October 03, 2006

Today is Tuesday October 3rd...

well, Zoe had a peculiar day today...after school, we had to go to the post office, and we left Grandpa there, and Zoe and Grandma went to a little thrift store by the post office...while there, Zoe had an accident and so we left to sit in the car...she's eating her school lunch and I ask her how her day went...she answers, "ok."
"who did you play with?"
"kyle"
how was recess?"
"I didn't get recess." that peaks my curiosity...
turns out, from what Zoe says, she and Gaby hit each other's heads and they both got taken to the nurse and sat in there for the whole recess with ice on their heads...
I still do not think we have gotten the whole true story, but, Zoe will probably have a black eye, her left eyelid is swollen, and she has a bump on the right side of her head...I guess, kids will be kids...
the school has so many kindergarteners and 1st graders that they are starting a new class and 1 child from each existing class will have to go to the new class...we are biting our nails that it won't be Zoe that has to go...neither do we want Gaby, Kyle, Rose or Mark to go...we will know on Monday...we love her class and her teacher, and really do not want her moved...but, I will really feel for whomever has to move to the new class...am thinking it will be really hard on the child, altho, I do realize that children are very resiliant and can adjust very well to new beginnings, better than we can...

Green TICKET today...

Zoe: Daddy felt sorry for my head, so him and me went to Cold Stone for ice cream...I had chocolate ice cream, but it tasted like coffee...it was so good...Min Min went with us, and we went to Target, and he bought me some candy, and we got Grandma some pumpkins...

WE GOT OUR SCHOOL PICTURES TODAY AT SCHOOL...Mommy says that my picture was a really good picture...Grandma took me over to Mark's house and him and me were talking about everyone in our class, how they smiled in their pictures...I like Mark's smile...

Today is Monday October 02, 2006

I had a good day at school, mostly I played with Kyle...when Grandma came to get me, the teacher told my Grandma that Kyle and me like to hold hands...

Grandma took me and Sian to Carls Jr for french fries and chicken...

here is a picture of me coloring with Sian...
