So, I feel really bad for not keeping up with writing...so much has happened that I cannot even begin to write about it all...
Zoe's grandpa being sick was very hard for us all...Zoe cried every night when she could not go to see him in ICU, and I ended up spending a fortune in the gift shop when she wanted to buy him a present...all is better on that front for right now, and for that we are grateful...Grandpa's side of the family had not seen Zoe for a long period of time, and when they all came up to see how he was doing, they got to see Zoe in all of her glory...She was such a good little girl and I was very proud of her...she fell in love with Aunt Valerie (who happens to be a kindergarten teacher)... and now Zoe wants to send her a picture...so, here was Zoe doing what she does best, talking non stop, and someone, don't remember who, said to me, "have you seen that Volvo commercial, where the little girl talks so much???" that was funny as I have thought that was our Zoe also...
the day before Zoe's long week off from school, I went in to kindergarten and we all painted tee shirts, and then the whole class wore them on valentine's day...too cute...I love helping out in her classroom...took Mrs. Luginbill tons of books from the rummage sale, so that she can give them out for prizes...she was very happy to see all of the boxes of books...
Now, Zoe is back in school after having more than a week off, although she just went to school with Mom to preschool...but, I was there also trying to get the rummage sale done...
Letter for the week is Z...Zoe is all happy since it is Z...
She packed her lunch and when I went to get her, she had spilled yogurt all down the front of her nice new gymboree tee shirt...am sure it will come out, but I had to tease her...
she, of course, got a green ticket today, and the teacher said she let each child get a book from the ones we had brought...
tomorrow after school. she is going to Gaby's house for a birthday party...
maybe that will take her mind off of the other Zoe leaving for New York tonight and everyone is very upset...Samantha and the other Zoe's mom have gotten pretty close and this is very hard on them all...we will not get to see Zoe and her brother and baby sister for 6-8 months when the dad gets out of the Army (he just returned from Afghanistan...)
