HERE IT IS NOW MAY 1ST, AND I HAVE BEEN REALLY BAD ABOUT POSTING...I FEEL BAD ABOUT THAT...
THE year of kindergarten will soon be over and we will be really sad...we love her teacher and each of the kids in her class...I have gotten to know them all pretty well and I love each of them for a different reason...I have thoroughly enjoyed helping each time that I have...Zoe has learned soooooo much this year and we can see how much more grown up she is...she is reading and writing sentences and doing math...she knows her lunch number...she just has come such a long way...
she played at Gaby's house after school today, she loves it there...she made Gaby's mom a picture this morning, it was cute...
today was doughnuts with dad for the book fair and she took grandpa with her and he bought her a book...
I brought back the green house that I helped the kids plant flowers...I took home to straighten it up a bit...

So, I feel really bad for not keeping up with writing...so much has happened that I cannot even begin to write about it all...
Zoe's grandpa being sick was very hard for us all...Zoe cried every night when she could not go to see him in ICU, and I ended up spending a fortune in the gift shop when she wanted to buy him a present...all is better on that front for right now, and for that we are grateful...Grandpa's side of the family had not seen Zoe for a long period of time, and when they all came up to see how he was doing, they got to see Zoe in all of her glory...She was such a good little girl and I was very proud of her...she fell in love with Aunt Valerie (who happens to be a kindergarten teacher)... and now Zoe wants to send her a picture...so, here was Zoe doing what she does best, talking non stop, and someone, don't remember who, said to me, "have you seen that Volvo commercial, where the little girl talks so much???" that was funny as I have thought that was our Zoe also...

the day before Zoe's long week off from school, I went in to kindergarten and we all painted tee shirts, and then the whole class wore them on valentine's day...too cute...I love helping out in her classroom...took Mrs. Luginbill tons of books from the rummage sale, so that she can give them out for prizes...she was very happy to see all of the boxes of books...

Now, Zoe is back in school after having more than a week off, although she just went to school with Mom to preschool...but, I was there also trying to get the rummage sale done...

Letter for the week is Z...Zoe is all happy since it is Z...
She packed her lunch and when I went to get her, she had spilled yogurt all down the front of her nice new gymboree tee shirt...am sure it will come out, but I had to tease her...

she, of course, got a green ticket today, and the teacher said she let each child get a book from the ones we had brought...

tomorrow after school. she is going to Gaby's house for a birthday party...
maybe that will take her mind off of the other Zoe leaving for New York tonight and everyone is very upset...Samantha and the other Zoe's mom have gotten pretty close and this is very hard on them all...we will not get to see Zoe and her brother and baby sister for 6-8 months when the dad gets out of the Army (he just returned from Afghanistan...)

today is Wednesday, January 10th...the month is flying by and so is this year of kindergarten...pretty soon it will be summer and then 1st grade...

Zoe was sick on Monday, so we kept her home, tho we really hate for her to stay home, we are afraid of all that she will miss by not being there...

Letter of the week this week is P, and the teacher said they will have popcorn on Friday...need to ask Zoe to sing the P song...

Last week Zoe wore one of my absolute favorite outfits to school, the woodland set from TCP...love it so much and then we realized that it is a size 4 and will not fit her too much longer...

I picked Zoe and Delia up from school and took them to the movies to see Happily Never After...it was kind of cute and the kids liked it...they also behaved pretty well also...

Grandma: so, I decided last night to try a different approach with this darling little girl...sometimes, she can be the sweetest little thing and then sometimes, it is like we need to bring the exorcist in to see her...so, I told her that every night, we are going to paint nails and try different ideas for her hair...she wants long hair so bad, but she absolutely hates for it to be combed in the morning...so, I told her that on Wednesday morning I would braid her hair, and she was very excited about it...I also sort of let her pick her clothes out...I am so picky about what she wears, and she is growing up so much...I can forsee a day when I will not be involved in her clothes picking out at all...she I helped her pick out her black tiered cord skirt that she loves, and some new black dotted tights that I got at Old Navy, and I let her pick out a leopard tee...she did look kind of cute this morning with her black shiny boots...
she was absolutely fine this morning, letting me do her hair and all...the top picture shows her braids...
when she came home from school the braids were out and one of the leopard heart barrettes was lost, but, hey, we tried, RIGHT?????
she said that her friends liked her hair, her new watch and her nails being done...
I had a drs. appt so Uncle Min Min went to school to get her and then they went for an icee and had fun...

Zoe: today I played with Gaby, Cailey and Juliette...I got a green ticket, even though the teacher was sort of mad at me and told me to put my barette in my cubby...
I ate in the cafeteria and had pizza...it was sort of good...
when I got home, I sang the C song for my grandma, she loves my songs so much...

after nap, Grandma and me went shopping and got new nail polish, and lipstick...I got 3 new polishes and some new barrettes also like the ones that Gaby has...Grandma also bought my valentines for me to give all the kids in my class...I got hello kitty ones, they are so cute and have stickers with them...
then, after my shower, Grandma painted my nails and she said that she loves my freckles and took a picture of my face to show my freckles...

nighty night

Yeah...we are all caught up in postings...

Today is really Tuesday January 2nd...

Grandpa drove us to school, cause Grandma has the flu...I am happy that I did not have to walk...
I brought my lunch, I made it myself...it had nachos, string cheese, fruit snacks and a drink...

The letter of the week is C, and I will sing the song later it is about a cat...cause cat starts with C...

I played with Gaby today...she is having a sleep over tonight with Isabella...

I got a green ticket...

after school. Grandpa got me an Icee and chips...

after nap, I played at Grandma's for a long time, and Grandma painted my nails and fixed my new strawberry shortcake watch which I am going to wear to school tomorrow...and Grandma is going to braid my hair for school... then after all that I went home to do my homework...

I feel really bad, as we took quite a break from writing, so I will try hard and make up in this posting...

This is really Tuesday January the 2nd, and Zoe went back to school today after being off for the 2 weeks for the holiday...
before she left for the break, on Friday, I went in and helped the class decorate Christmas cookies that Mrs. Luginbill asked us to make...it was a lot of fun helping in the class...I really like all of the kids in the class...I sat with Zoe in the cafeteria while she ate her lunch, then we walked home as Grandpa was gone...it will be so nice to have the 2 weeks off and not have to have her at school by the 7:40...

On Saturday the 16th, it was the annual Elk's Christmas party for the kids and we always look forward to the party...we almost did not make it as Grandpa thought the party was at 1:00 and I had him call to make sure, and they said it had already started (and that was 11 am) so we hurried down there, called Debbie to bring Sian, and did get there on time...it was raining, and they had all of the kids that were already there, on a hayride...
we had a really good time, they make very good macaroni and cheese and they also had little hot dogs and cupcakes...the kids saw Santa and each received a gift...Sian loved Santa and she got a baby doll, and Zoe got a game table that she can play pool, etc on...we had invited the other Zoe, but they could not go as Allison was sick, but we took them their gifts...

On Monday, Samantha and Zoe took the bus to the movies and saw Charlotte's Web, and they had a really good time...
On Tuesday, Samantha and Zoe took the bus to the library for a teddy bear party...
On Wednesday, I gave the "toad" (Zoe's nickname) 25.00 and we took her to the dollar store and told her she could buy gifts for anyone she wanted to...she was really thoughtful and spent her money wisely (she even bought the cat and dog presents) and I was surprised that she wanted to buy Debbie (Sian's other grandma) presents also...it made me feel good that she has a good heart...then, she even wrapped her gifts also...
On Thursday, we got up early and went out to breakfast and to Wal Mart to finish shopping...

so, Christmas Eve was very nice, we always have a big dinner and Sian was here and so, we let her unwrap her presents, since she will be with Debbie on Christmas morning...Zoe also unwrapped several items...she really liked her etch a sketch, and her new doll SUV...we were up kind of late, since it was such a nice night, but Zoe wanted to get to bed for Santa...she left out cookies for Santa and carrots for the reindeer...she wanted to make sure I would also leave some for them at my house....
Christmas morning, Zoe was so excited expecially since Santa left her the V smile game she wanted at my house, and she was very interested on how Santa made it through the fireplace...she made sure the night before that I would not make a fire, so he would not get burned...she opened the rest of her gifts and we had sausages and cinnamon rolls...then Zoe and her parents went for the rest of the day to Chris and Bob's house (that is Brant's niece...)

the week between Christmas and New Years was kind of quiet, and we did not do too much...Zoe did get to see Zoe and played with her for a little bit...
New Years Eve again was quiet...Samantha and Zoe came over and Niki and Chris came, but I have the flu soooooo bad...it was still nice....we had appetizers...Zoe stayed up (surprisingly) until midnight (I fell asleep just before that) and she went outside and played with the confetti gun that Uncle Min Min bought...
the next morning, Grandpa, and I got up early (even though I am still sick) and took Zoe and Mommy out to breakfast...

Samantha Brant and Zoe climbed the hill to Mount Rubidoux, and Zoe loved it...she said that she now has muscles, just from climbing that one day...

Grandpa is taking us to school every day, right now, since I have been sick and it is a little better not to have to walk...

we sang the V song and did some more V things for the letter of the week...

I played with GAby today and got a green ticket...today was pizza in the cafeteria but I still took my lunch...

after my nap, I went over to Grandma's house and helped decorate her trees, can you believe she has 6 trees??? some of them are small ones, but she even has one in the bathroom...in the computer room, she has only disney decorations...that one is one of my favorites...in the playroom, is my pink princess tree...
then, I helped Uncle Min Min put bows on all of the presents...

also, I am done with my homework, it was easy...

Ok, we are caught up, today is the real date...YEAH...

Grandma: last month, I was helping at the preschool, and saw a little girl wearing the cutest dress...we looked at the tag of her dress and saw that it was made by Flapdoodles...so, I went onto ebay and found the dress, but at the last minute, I was outbid...but, then I forgot about it...so, yesterday Samantha comes home from work and has the dress with her in Zoe's size...Lisa Sherman found the dress at Costco and bought it for Zoe...(thanks Lisa)...and it looks so cute on her...
Grandpa drove Zoe to school as I don't think she is 100% better, still coughing and I don't want her walking in the cold...
she looks so happy in the picture, doesn't she??? she certainly is not a morning person...

wanted to add something she said yesterday that was kind of cute...she stayed home from school for being sick, but Grandpa took her with him to get tacos for lunch...they get home and she got a quesadilla (?) and as she was unwrapping it, she stops and holds both hands up, like she is mad and said, "can you believe this, I just paid them good money for this quesadilla, for them to make the cheese melt on the outside of the tortilla?" I thought that was cute...

got Zoe from school, and Mrs. Luginbill asked if I could make 40 cookies for Friday, OF COURSE...she said that she can buy them if I can't make them, and I get to go help decorate them with the class...

Zoe: I played with Delia and Gaby today, and was a good girl and got a green ticket...
the letter of the week is V and the song is about volcanoes and Valentine's day, it is cute...

after nap, when Daddy got home we went to Tom's farm to see all of the Christmas lights, we took a train ride and it was fun...

Today is Friday and Zoe is visibly sick...she coughed all night and she has a slight fever, so I am keeping her home today...a bunch of little girls were supposed to go to the movies this afternoon, so I went up to the school to let them know Zoe is sick...Mrs. Luginbill said that Delia had told her that her other grandma (me) would not be picking her up today, and the teacher thought that was cute...

So, onto Saturday...today is the other Zoe's birthday party, and Zoe's fever is gone so we went to the party anyway and just told Zoe to stay away from babies...it was at the bowling alley and they did have a really good time...our Zoe can bowl pretty good, but the other Zoe kept making strikes...

Today is Thursday...

Grandma: think Zoe is getting sick, but we hate her missing school, since they learn so much every single day in that class...
Took Sian with me to get Zoe from school, and she gets so excited to see her cousin...
Got there in time to see them get back to class from ELD, when all of the classes congregate on the playground, you actually see how many kindergarteners there are (5 classes of at least 20 a piece)...
Samantha had lunch bunch, so we took Zoe to FUMPS so she could eat lunch with Zoe...
